Back To Reality | MELIA MAY

Yep, back to reality this week. Last week me and Danny went to the famous Devon Coast for a week of relaxing by the sea, Even If it did rain near enough everyday.. Typical! During our time there I decided to film a few bits and jumble them all up into a video. It’s nothin’ special, But I just really enjoy creating them. Continue reading “Back To Reality | MELIA MAY”

My Night-time Routine | MELIAMAY

Today I’ve finally uploaded my night time routine. After weeks of editing it’s finally done and uploaded. I wanted to do a little video about what I do on a typical night after work. When I come back from work, my brains normally fried so I like to take some time to relax and unwind. The best way for me to do that is to have a nice meal, spend some time with Danny, Have a nice bath and just have a little bit of me time. I’m thinking of doing a morning routine too soon so stay tuned for that! Anyway, check it below.

Makeup Revolution Skin kiss Highlighters |REVIEW

Makeup Revolution Skin kiss Highlighters |REVIEW

Another blog post about highlighters, 2 in fact. These beauties come from Make Up Revolution and they go by the names of Skin Kiss. They do 4 shades in total but these were the two I opted for as these were the two I thought I would get the most use out of.  I got the shade ‘ice kiss‘ and ‘Golden Kiss‘. Ice kiss is a cool toned almost white highlight and Golden Kiss is a warm champagne highlight. Continue reading “Makeup Revolution Skin kiss Highlighters |REVIEW”

Formula 10.0.6 | Review

Formula 10.0.6 | Review

I’m normally crap at trying new products, I just stick to the stuff I know. However I’ve recently been trying out a new brand called Formula 10.0.6, I saw it in boots when I was having a little mooch and it was half price so I though why not. I first picked up the Formula 10.0.6 Seriously Shine Free Mattifying Oil-Free Moisturizer because I was in need of a new moisturizer and the name kinda drew me in, Not just Shine Free, But Seriously Shine free!? Turns out It’s an amazing product. I haven’t heard of Formula 10.0.6 anywhere, Ever. I haven’t even seen it advertised anywhere, It’s very unusual for me to buy products without googling for reviews first but something just looked good about this. The packaging looked good and the whole brand seemed dedicated to oily/blemish prone skin. It’s very rare you see a whole brand dedicated to oily skin. The product itself doesn’t really smell of anything, But I like that because I like how they aren’t adding fancy ingredients just for it to smell good, they’ve just put stuff in that works. I wouldn’t say its light weight either, It feels the opposite when you apply it, It feels really thick and bit odd, But then it sinks in and your face is super matte, But still feels moisturised. I love it that much I am now on my second one! After having great results with the moisturiser, I went back for more. As they were have price, I picked up the Formula 10.0.6 Deep Down Detox Ultra-Cleansing Mask and the Formula 10.0.6 Rescue Me! Blemish Care. These didn’t disappoint either. The mask smells kinda like oranges and yogurt. I looks like yogurt too, When it drys you can barely see it and your face feels kinda tight, Although not in an uncomfortable way. It washes off easily and leaves your face matte. I use this 2 times a week and I can see it becoming my holy grail face mask already. The spot cream also worked wonders. To be honest since using the other two products I’ve hardly had any spots so I’ve hardly used this, Although I did have one the other day on my chin, I applied this two nights in a row and It was gone about two days. It’s definitely the best spot cream I’ve tried, Oh and it doesn’t sting! overall I couldn’t rave about this brand enough, every products I’ve tried has been amazing and I am definitely going back for more. I was to give the face mask and scrub ago next….
