The Body Shop Oils Of Life Eye Cream | REVIEW

If some of you are on the lookout for a new eye cream, I'd definitely continue reading. I am forever on the hunt for something to sort my under eye bags out. Yes I may only be 21 years of age, However I am almost certain I am getting wrinkles.

Now I understand that I'm not going to find some magic fix for under eye circles or wrinkles, but I do believe there are products out there that can help them. For example this wonderful eye cream from The Body Shop. Now I'm not going to sit here and claim this will cure all your problems, HOWEVER It can make things look a little better in the eye department. When I first got this and tried it on the back of my hand, I noticed little flecks of glitter in it. I'm not going to lie, At first I hated the concept. There is just something about glitter in products that I don't like. However once applied, My opinion completely changed. I though it would have looked ridiculous under my eyes but It's not what I thought. I had visions of there being really big flecks of glitter under my eyes but instead It just added a really nice glow. Which is the main reason this works.

I haven't noticed any long-term effects however once I apply this every morning I feel like my concealer goes on so much easier. I find my concealer doesn't crease and It doesnt leave a horrible oily residue under my eyes. Because it's a gel formula, It sinks in almost immediately and just leaves you with really hydrated and glowing under eyes. One thing I'm not keen on is the smell.  I can't put my finger on the smell but it isn't like others I've tried.  I guess the smell doesnt really matter if it's doing a good job! I'd say this is a good dupe for the Origins Gin Zing Eye Cream which is the same price however The Body Shop Eye Cream is 5ml more than the Origins one. So you get more bang for your buck.

Let me know in the comments if you have tried this or can recommend any other eye creams?

  1. I’ve tried the Oils of life sleeping cream, and it was exactly like this one. Gel formula and so hydrating! I’m glad to hear that the eye cream lives up to the same expectations. Great review 🙂
