My brows have been though a lot in their time. Over plucking, Over drawing, Shaving at one point, Yes you read that right, shaving! It’s a long story but I ended up shaving in-between my eyebrows because I was so worried about getting a monobrow. It’s safe to stay I stopped doing that…. Now adays I like to keep it simple. I do fill them in a little but I definitely don’t overdraw them like I used to.
I’ve been using this NYX Tame And Frame Tinted brown Promade to fill in my brows recently which is a perfect dupe for Anastasia Beverly Hills dip Brow Promade. It’s a brown cream which when applied, Gives a perfect natural eyebrow. I’ve been using it with Spectrum Brow brush and It gives a really precise eyebrow look. One thing I did notice is that the packaging is slightly better with this product than the ABH brow Promade, The ABH one is quite plasticky and doesn’t feel very good quality, Whereas the NYX one is made from glass, Making it feel a lot more expensive than it is.
It can be hard to work with if you use a dry brush as I find it doesn’t apply very easily, It kinda turns into little balls and it drags along the eyebrow, However I found adding a little setting spray or water makes it a little easier to work with.
It comes in 5 shades which range from blonde to black, which is hard to find in brow products these days. It is also waterproof, perfect if it’s raining outside. Nobody likes runny eyebrows.
It’s also a lot cheaper that the ABH Dip Brow Pomade. Coming in at £5.50 you can’t really complain. My brow game is definitely stepped up since having this. No more shaving and over plucking for me!
