Okay so my nude lipstick obsession is out of control, granted. However when I saw this lipstick from Makeup Revolution in Superdrug I knew it had to come home with me. I’m not gunna lie here, I have got alot of nude lippies, But in my defence they all look different…to me. One of my all time faves (and probably everyone else’s) is MAC’s Velvet teddy. It shot to fame a few years back when it was said to be Kylie Jenners Favourite lipstick. Since then I’ve gone through countless tubes of it. Now it’s not overly expensive in comparison to other high-end brands, But for £15 it’s not overly cheap either. So you can imagine my joy when I found this lipstick.

It goes my the name of Makeup Revolution Iconic Matte Revolution Lipstick in the shade Chauffer. As you can guess from the name, It’s a matte finish, My personal fave in the lipstick world. It’s super creamy and isn’t drying on the lips just like MAC’S Velvet Teddy and the shade it pretty much bang on. I would say it’s the teeny-tiniest bit lighter but to me it still looks the same. One thing I noticed however is that it’s not as pigmented as Mac’s lipstick, It takes a few coats to get the pay off wanted but I guess that’s to be expected considering it’s only £3. Yep, you read that right…£3! I can safely say I’m going to be stocking up on these for everyday wear because I can see myself going through them quickly.

Another thing, I actually prefer the packaging on this lipstick to MAC’s packaging. Yes the MAC one feels slightly heavier and better quality but when It comes to looks, Makeup Revolution takes the win. I love the rose gold details, It just looks high-end. So well done Makeup Revolution, Another cracking product to add to my collection!
