OOTD: Day At The Beach

If you didn’t know, I have been in Wales for the past week relaxing by the sea. We spent pretty much every day sat on the beach, not bad. I have got a lot of outfit posts coming up as all we did is pretty much take pictures. First OOTD is this maxi skirt and crop top look… If you’ve read my BOOHOO haul post you would have seen this maxi skirt in there. I think I picked it up for around £8 so super cheap. I wanted something different for summer as I don’t normally wear skirts. I’m more of a black jeans sorta gal. I love this one as it has an elastic waste so it’s really comfy to wear and it’s not too tight around the legs, that’s the last thing you want on a hot day. It’s got a split up the side so again, It keeps your legs nice and cool during summer. I went for quite a monochrome top as I wanted to keep it quick simple. I picked this top up a couple of weeks ago from TOPSHOP and I love it! It’s so easy to just chuck on and you still look kinda put together. On my feet I wanted something quite easy to throw on as we were spending the day at the beach so I didn’t want to be hopping around trying to take shoes off. I picked up these flip-flops yonks ago from Matalan I think, they are a nude pink with rose gold detailing on. Accessories wise, I chose my black shoulder bag and QUAY sunglasses just to finish everything off, Yanno me, Nice and simple!
