May Favourites

Another month, Another Favourites. It’s been a busy one this month. I’ve been trying a few new things out and have found some amazing things. I’ve also been working on a new project recently with my boyfriend which will be coming along soon and I will let you all know what it’s about, It’s very exciting and can’t wait to get going with it. So Yeah, A lot of my time this month has been going into that, So I haven’t got lots of favourites but these are things I’ve tried and have really been enjoying though-out may!

what is it about eyeshadow palettes that just makes you go weak at the knees? because that’s exactly what this eyeshadow palette did when I first clapped eyes on it. It is so gorgeous I just can’t cope… The eye shadows are so pigmented and creamy. They blend so well so it doesn’t look like I’ve applied eyeshadow using my elbows. I just think its incredible and so worth the money. I’ve used it every day since I got it and I don’t think I even want to use another. can you tell I love this palette? I have all the swatches and a lot more info on my blog post here is you want to know more!

This is a new realise from Loreal but boy its good. It’s not like any other bronzer I’ve tried. It’s called the Glam bronze Cushion De Soleil. In the little compact you get a little round applicator which I personally don’t use, You get a mirror, Then you flip-up a little plastic protector and there is a small sponge that is soaked in the product. The product is quite wet so It’s not like your typical cream bronzers. I love the colour also. It’s quite a warm colour but I prefer that anyway. It’s really subtle and gives you a fresh glow without looking muddy and patchy. I think It’s perfect for summer!

This product is something I had been dying to get my hands on you’re a while. It has only just been realised in the UK which I didn’t even know about until I saw it when i was browsing boots. I didn’t even question getting it. It has definitely been worth the wait. I’d say it is medium to high coverage without being cakey. The consistency is something I wasn’t expecting. I expected it to be quite thick but It’s actually quite watery. I think this helps it feel like skin when you put it on. It’s so lightweight that you cannot feel it on your skin at all. This foundation is more suitable for combination to oily skins as It’s quite mattifying so Basically everything I want in one foundation.

I though I’d jump on the metallic matte lip bandwagon and picked up this new limited edition Liquid Lipstick from Jouer cosmetics in the shade daiquiri. It gorgeous isn’t it. Joure have just come out with a brand new mermaid collection with the prettiest colours in  world. I couldn’t justify picking up every single product in the collection so I limited my self to one product. I ended up getting this colour which is a bright coral colour with a metallic gold finish. You can’t really see the gold in the Picture very well as I can’t seem to pick it up on camera but you’ll just have to take my word for it, Its incredible. It doesn’t budge either! When i first swatched this on my hand I had to scrub for a good ten minutes to get it off but nothing an oil cleanser can’t handle.

My new go-to for summer. This is the Boots own Tea Tree and Witch Hazel With Berry moisturiser. I picked it up mainly because of the packaging but it actually turned out to be extremely good for my oily skin. I have a blog post dedicated to it so check that out for more details here but me and my skin have been absolutely loving that this month.

  1. I’m really glad you included the Loreal cushion bronzer in this as I’ve just bought it and was worried about the texture and colour of it! Can’t wait to really give it a go now 🙂 x

    1. It worried me too at first because it looks kinda muddy but it applies so lightly it just adds a nice bronze. I apply with a beauty blender and it works brilliantly but ive tried a buffing brush too and that works well too 🙂 hope you love it! Xx
