Bourjois Paris Silk Edition Compact Powder

I’m quite picky when It comes to powders. I like them to mattify but still have bit of coverage. This one ticks all the boxes for me. I picked It up from super drug for £8.99 as I was in need of a new powder and thought I’d try out another one. I’ll be completely honest with you, The packaging was the main reason I brought this. The mirror swivels round! I can’t really think of when or why I would need this but it’s cool so I don’t think it matters.

Even though I did originally get this because of the packaging, It actually turned out to be a really impressive powder! I use it set my foundation, and it does a brilliant job. It mattifies instantly and also has abit of coverage which is always something I love. A little goes a long way with this, I feel it could get a little bit cakey if you kept powdering all the same places, so I just use a powder brush, dab a little on the brush and dab over the places I’d like to set like my T-Zone and under-eyes to set my concealer. It keeps my face from becoming oily all day, I do top up if I’m doing anywhere after work, But I’d do that with any powder as I prefer a super matte look. Just a little heads up on the colour range, I got the colour golden Beige, I am quite pale so this colour would normally be to dark for me, So If you’re thinking of picking it up, Swatch the powders before hand just incase.
