My favourite way to get my makeup off, Is by using a cleansing oil. My skin seems to love them! Now as you may or may not know, I have oily skin. So the last thing I would have expected is to be able to use a cleansing oil and not end up looking like an oil slick. but it works, so I’m not complainin’. I feel like cleansing oils are such a luxurious way to remove make up, And they leave your skin so moisturized! I have two all time fave cleansing oils that I switch up now and again. One is high-end and one is drug store. So this post , I’m going to share my thoughts on both.

Shu Uemura Skin Purifier Cleansing Oil

So this was the very first oil I tried. The reason behind this purchase was because I was scared of using an cleansing oil and this specific one is for oily skin, So I thought, why not? I’m so glad I did try it as I haven’t looked back since. I don’t think I will ever try any other type of cleanser. This cleanser is brilliant for removing make up. I massage into dry skin, also over my eyes to remover eye make up, Then using a warm, damp muslin cloth, I wipe all over my face and all of my make up is removed instantly. It leaves my skin feeling so clean and moisturised, And surprisingly, Not oily at all! This is the more pricey one of the two coming in at £30 for a 150ml. But totally worth it if you have oily skin and struggle with finding an cleansing oil that actually works.

The Body Shop Camomile Silky Cleansing Oil

I picked this up because I had been trying the shu uemura one for a while although I was about to run out and I didn’t want to spend £30 at the time (saving up) so I decided to try it out and see how it compared. I absolutely love it. If I go a day without it, I just don’t enjoy taking my make up off as much. I had seen and read so many people rave about how brilliant it was, but I was abit hesitant at first as I though it would breakme out. But I have been using it for a good year now and I haven’t had a single problem. In fact I think my skin has improved since using it. I had a lot of scars from previous spots but they are barely there now. This one is the purse friendly one.  You can pick it up for around £11, so an absolute bargain!

So those are my 2 all time favourite oil cleansers, My ride or die Cleansers. I love them both dearly, Even with the price difference.
