Me and my skin haven’t always seen eye to eye. For quite some time now, i’ve battled the oil and the blemishes. Along the way i have picked up a few skin care saviors that have helped me and my skin get along abit better. So today I wanted to tell you about the products that have helped me in my battle and hopefully will help yours.

La Roche Posay Sero Zinc – £8.50

I’ll start off with the most talked about beauty product in the beauty world. If you have Oily skin and haven’t tried La Roche Posay Sero Zinc, WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?! I have been using this for over a year now, and I swear by it. It has only three ingredients. Thermal Water, Zinc Sulfate and Astringent Sodium Chloride. I mean if that doesn’t sound like a oil-busting cocktail I don’t know what does. I use after cleansing as a toner, and spray it all over the face. It feels so refreshing and cooling. It does wonders for my skin, I feel like since using this product, My skin has come on leaps and bounds.

Avene Clearance Cleansing Gel-£8.25

I saw this whilst browsing the aisles of Boots in the hunt for a new, cheaper cleanser (trying to be good and save money). It was recommended for oily/blemish prone so I though i’d give it ago. I’m so glad I did. I’ve tried alot of cleansers aimed at oily skin, but none have come close to this one. You’re face feels so clean after using it. It’s soap free so no nasties in there, and it has the Avene thermal water in there to help sooth aggravated skin. I’ve gotten through so many bottles of this but its definitely a holy grail product now!

KIKO Pruifying Pads

These are brilliant for when your skin is having a really bad time and just hates your guts. They are astringent so great for oily skin and they feel so refreshing when you wipe them all over your face after cleansing. I usually hate these sort of pads because most of them a pretty strong. You know the ones I mean. You know they are strong when you wipe them over a blemish and you do a little pain dance. But these ones don’t sting at all. A brilliant addition to my skincare draw.

KIKO Purifying Fluid

Another product from the Purifying Range. I can’t help it, They really get on with my skin. I use this as a night time moisturiser because it;s lightweight and refreshing. It doesn’t linger on your skin for ages so you end up getting your pillow case stuck to the side of your face. It sinks in almost instantly and you’re left with a moisturised, supple, Non Oil-slick Face.

Clarins Lotus Face Treatment Oil-£32

I’m not going to waffle on too much about this product as i already have a whole other post dedicated to this little beauty, (here). Let just say, I looooove this Oil. I know, Crazy. An oil for oily skin. But trust me, It works wonders. My blemishes are reduced and my face doesn’t turn into an oily mess by the end of the day. You could actually use this as a spot treatment if you really wanted to. It seems to reduce the size of spots which i’ve never come across in an oil before and it also Moisturizes so well. A Win win product!

Simple Oil Balancing Moisturiser-£2.79

The best, Budget friendly daily moisturiser  I have ever come across. Simple is a very popular brand. well know for there skin friendly and purse friendly products. This product stood out to me straight away. It’s super light and non greasy so perfect for Oily skin. It also has zinc in it which is a well known ingredient for oily skin and as most of the other simple skin products, there are no artificial perfumes or colours so nothing in there will aggravate your skin.
