Febuary Favourites

I cannot believe how quick this month has gone by! It seems like 2 seconds since I did my last favourties and wrote my first blog post in January! There isn’t as many favourites this month as i’ve been trying to save to move out soon, so I have been trying not to spend much.

My first favourite is something I’ve had for awhile but as I explained in a recent post, I didn’t get on with to start with because I used a different type of application, Although I decided recently to use the Real Techniques Setting Brush to buff it in and it goes on like a DREAM! (see post Here)

So this little beauty is hands down the best buffing brush I has ever used! I have been using it every day to apply my foundation and I just love the results. I’ve found some buffing brushes are too dense and end up just smushing the foundation around your face, but this one buffs it in seamlessly, Big thumbs up!

Another brush I’ve been loving is this one from Look Good Feel Better. I have been using this to blend in my eyeshadow and it’s soooooo soft. Sometimes (most of the time) I get abit carried away with eyeshadow and I apply waaaay way to much, So I use this to tone it down a little. As it’s angled, It fits the crease perfectly.

To be honest, I’m quite lazy, so when It comes to work, I want something I can just shove on and rush out the door. The Lighter one of the two, Is the ‘Long Lasting Stick, 8 Hour No-Trasfer Eyeshadow’ In 06. Its a goldy bronze colour. I use this all over the Lid and then add My other KIKO shadow stick ‘Moostone Shadow’ in 02 into the crease, Which i can only describe as a dark brown colour, Which has a tone of khaki in it. Its such an interesting colour! They blend so well so it literally a smokey eye in seconds!

I have one Fashion Favourite this month, and it’s this Basic t-shirt. So if you didnt see my recent post (here), Then you should probably know that I am in the middle of creating a capsual wardrobe. I made a list of all the things I was missing and on it was basic tee’s. I’m really into stripes at the moment. I love how simplistic they are. I picked this up in Newlook for £7.99 and I bloomin’ love it. It’s the sort of top you can shove on and tuck into jeans and it would still look like you’ve made abit of an effort. I actually think they did this style of t-shirt in different colour so will have to take a trip to Newlook to get some more!

I also have a blog fave this month! I stumbled across COCOCHIC when looking for a few blog tips, As i’m new on the scene it was lovely and refreshing to read some actual blog advice, she also does fashion posts too! So check her out, because her blog is lovely!

P.S- I now have Pinterest! https://uk.pinterest.com/meliamayy/ (Although I will warn you, there is alot Home pins on there, I’m obsessed).
