My Top Five Lipsticks

I have to admit, Lipstick has to be my favourite make up item out of them all. I just love how they can drastically change a look from subtle to Full-on. Although I have many different lipsticks, I only have a select few i reach for every day. Let me tell you, it was hard to pick 5 as i usually have about 10 lipsticks lying around in my hand bags and in my makeup bag. so without further a do…..

Clinque Lipstick ‘Melon Pop’ – £16

This is such a perfect spring colour, It is a peachy Coral with a Demi Matte finish. It is so easy to apply so i don’t even need a mirror to apply this. I usually reach for this when i want something a little more than a nude, something that is still natural but has a pop of colour also.

Urban Decay Matte Revolution Lipstick In 1993 – £15.50

I Loveeeeee this lipstick so much! I have alot of brown toned lipsticks, although none like this. Most brown lipsticks have a pink tone to them, although this one is very dark true brown. No pink undertones-just brown. You can dab it on gently if you don’t want an ‘in your face’ Dark lip. or you can really build it up so its nice and dark!

Estee lauder Pure colour Envy Matte Sculpting Lipstick

This lipstick is my perfect red. Its more of an orangery toned red but I prefer that to more darker reds. Although I don’t wear this every day as its abit too full on for a daily lipstick, I love putting this on when i’m going out. It’s also a matte finish (no surprises there), So it last amazingly well. To the point wear it’s actually hard to remove at the end of the night and you might end up looking like The Joker, But i just use an oil based cleanser to remover it and it comes straight off. I think it was Limited Edition as i can’t seem to find it any where online so hopefully i wont run out!

Mac Creme Sheen Lipstick in ‘Modesty’ -£15

As you can see from the picture above, This is a much loved lipstick. It is my go to Nude. If I was a nude lipstick this is what i would be. It makes a change from my usual Matte formula. Its a creme Sheen, so it is very creamy on the lips, which really compliments the colour. I find that this lipstick makes my lips look fuller and healthier. I cannot recommend this lipstick enough, If you love nude lipsticks, try this one. (taking mental note to order another before I run out).

Gerard Cosmetics ‘Tequila Sunrise’ – £9.50

Last but certainly not least, Is something a little different to what i’d normally go for. When I saw this being used on a Youtube Tutorial, I remember thinking that it was such a beautiful bright coral pink, I found myself wondering onto the Beauty Bay website and then the rest is a blur, the next thing I knew it was on its way to me in the post. It is a Matte finish, Its long lasting and makes my lips look flawless. I can see this colour becoming a daily lipstick during the summer months!

  1. I feel like lipstick is the crowning glory of an FOTD. Nice, diverse set of choices. I want to try out Clinique. I’ve swatched those new ones, and they look promising.
