The Balm Nude Tude-New Fave

This is a bit of a first impressions post as this is a very recent puchase, although i already think it’s a strong contender for my favourite palette. Considering i am abit of a palette hoarder, that is a very bold statement.

i’ll start with swatchs so you have a good idea of what shades are in the pallette.

Shades used- all over my eye lid is stubborn and Stand-offish, transition shade is Sulty, in the crease is Sexy and in the corner of my eye is Sassy

I actually picked this up at a bargain price of Β£14.99 in TKMAXX. When I saw the price I was like ‘yep, you’re coming home with me’ and marched over to the till ready to part with my money and then run home to try it. Most of my palettes are neutral themed so I didn’t really need another im my collection although I just couldnt help it, the shades are beautiful! My favourite shades have to be stand-offish, which is a very glittery baby pink, sultry, which is a light warm brown, and Sexy, a deep burgandy.

So, a little about the formula. They are very pigmented and buttery, you can just swipe it across your eye lid and your ready to go, which I love because you dont have to FAF with fall out and blending. The main reason I like this palette is because you can do a very neuatual day look but transform it into a full-on night time look easily by using the very dark shades. If you want to transform a day look into a night look, you can add a small flick using ‘serious’, packing the colour onto your lashline and then using sleek to darken the crease and you dont have to spend your life blending it in because it blends so easily! I have never really found a palette where i like every shadow, but i have to say there isn’t a shade in the palette i wouldnt use! Definitly recommend!
